Sister Jordan Lee

In about a week, pretty much exactly a week, actually, I will take on the title of "Sister Lee." Not sure how I feel about the title (it kinda makes me feel like a nun!), but I'm so excited to get out there and serve! I'm only in the M.T.C. three weeks, and then, off to Washington D.C. I'll go!

I have almost everything checked off my to-do list, and it's making it feel really real to me that I'm going!

• Pictures are taken and invitations sent out. (P.S. We really only sent invitations to family, so please come even if you didn't get a written invitation!)

• Bags are packed (and weighing just barely under 50 lbs. so they can come on the airplane with me). Tara and I weighed them last night.

• Farewell talk is written, as good as it's going to get anyway!

Next, come the goodbyes, and I'm not looking forward to those one bit! It will be the hardest thing about going on a mission! I hate goodbye, even if it's only for 18 months.

In a week, my life's going to change forever. Of that I am sure! I don't think I'll be the same Jordan 18 months from now. I'm excited. It will be an adventure, but one that I'm sure will be very difficult at times. So it's scary too! And a little sad because I feel like I'm bidding my childhood farewell along with my family and friends. But it's mostly exciting and joyful! I'm going to spread the good news of the Gospel! How could I not be happy about that!

My farewell's on Sunday (August 8th) @ 1:00. Hopefully I'll see lots of you there!

I'll post a couple more times before I head out, so I won't say goodbye just yet, but I'm getting there! Wish me luck!
